Good Together Belize

Community-led in Orange Walk, Belize

Do a little good.
Do it together.
Start close to home.

Good Together Belize connects people, businesses, volunteers and local needs through practical community projects. Helping doesn’t always mean a big donation — sometimes it’s supplies, a few hours, a useful connection, sharing a story, or simply showing up.

About Good Together Belize

People want to help. They just need a practical way to do it.

Good Together Belize is new, community-led, and starting right here in Orange Walk. It grew from a simple belief: most of us would gladly lend a hand — we just don’t always know where, or how.

So we listen for real local needs, find a practical way to help, and connect them with people willing to give a little of what they have. We’re not a large charity. We’re neighbours, organising together.

Helping can look like…

  • Time
  • Supplies
  • Skills
  • Connections
  • Sharing a story
  • Showing up

Every one of these counts. A large donation is never the only way to make a difference.

What we care about

Five places to start

Different causes, close to home. We focus where a little help can go a long way.

  • Community

Small projects that make our streets, parks and gathering places better for everyone.

  • Youth

Supplies, mentors and encouragement so children and teens can learn, play and grow.

  • Environment

Clean-ups, tree planting and caring for the land and rivers we all share.

  • Animals

Food, care and support for local rescues and the street animals who need a friend.

  • Families in Need

Standing beside neighbours going through a hard season — practically and kindly.

What we’re working on

Each project is one practical need, met together. Here’s where things stand right now.

A Little Good For Liam

Our community is rallying around little Liam and his family — sharing his story and encouraging neighbours and local businesses to give directly to his family’s GoFundMe.

20 local businesses × BZ$100 = BZ$2,000 for Liam’s GoFundMe

0 of 20 businesses joined so far — be one of the first.

All donations go directly to Liam’s family through their GoFundMe. Good Together Belize helps share the story and recognise those who take part — we never collect funds for this project.

How Good Together works

A simple journey, every time

  1. Step 1

    Notice the need

A neighbour, a school, a shelter — someone brings it to our attention.

  2. Step 2

Find a practical way to help

We look for the simplest, most useful thing that can actually be done.

  3. Step 3

    Bring people together

Volunteers, businesses and neighbours each give a little of what they have.

  4. Step 4

    Show what was accomplished

We share the results openly, and thank everyone who made it happen.

I know where help may be needed

Tell Us About A Need

or bring something to our attention

You know your neighbourhood better than anyone. Tell us about someone who may need help, a local issue, a cause that needs support, or an idea for a community project.

  • Individuals
  • Families
  • Community groups
  • Schools
  • Shelters & rescues
  • Businesses

An honest note: we’re a small, new, volunteer-led initiative, so submitting a request doesn’t guarantee we’ll be able to take on the project. But every submission is read and reviewed thoughtfully — and sometimes we can connect you with someone who can help.
